so let me get this straight. A MIT student worked very hard academically to become a u.s. citizen which is hard as shit. Then go a mit school and get a calling from Allah to bomb boston?

am sorry its hard to believe some one with such accolades would do this...

Can't you read? Let me set you straight since you're so confused. The terrorist didn't go to MIT or any prestigious college.

Everything we are told is a lie. I accepted this fact long ago.

Nobody stands to gain more from terrorism than the government.

It's funny when something like this happens, people automatically assume it's a foreign or domestic terrorist, but it never even crosses their minds that the government is behind it when they have been caught engaging in terrorism numerous times in the past.

The Boston bombing story is loaded with holes and things that don't add up. The whole thing was staged to take away more of our rights and bring us one step closer to full-blown tyranny.

If I can throw in a tangent, one of the things that struck me this time around was how fast everything went down.

Reminded back to Katrina when everyone used the argument real life doesnt go down like in the movies and that somehow it was ridiculous to think someone could get a helicopter with a few supplies onto the Superdome in under 5 days

CNN has done very poorly during this crisis. NBC has been the only reliable network.

What did the headline actually say? Is it still there? Do you only read CNN?

A bright yet naive 19 year old who was gullible enough and admired his big brother enough.

    Neither do I.

I don't believe going to MIT precludes you from doing such things, either.

: / - unlikely to be able to show the headline then.

One campus police officer was killed there - so maybe the headline was reflecting that, rather than saying one was a student there or 'mit student terrorist' (I take it you are paraphrasing). I dunno.
I thought one of them was a MIT student when I was only half paying attention.

I like to read/watch anything but that.

I still don't think CNN ever said that. I just read an article that criticizes CNN for all the mistakes it made, but it never mentioned what jmt says.

A couple days ago I mentioned in the RT room the two errors that are being mentioned in today's Huffington article about bad journalism. At least Huffington also noticed the errors and reported about it.

CNN in particular is notorious for carelessly jumping the gun and reporting bogus info, although others do it too.

"BAG MEN: Feds seek these two pictured at Boston Marathon."

"Earlier this week, The Post had also been criticized for falsely tying the bombings to a "Saudi national" who had no connection to the events, and reported that many more people had died than was true."

My question is. How do the people and the Police not notice what was going on and see the bags being left behind? We are so quick to pat them on the back for getting the bad guys, but shouldn't they have been searching back packs?
