Wow. Downloading music... I am not bored at all while I'm doing that. That was the reason I went to my dad's office and spent hours there, before I got internet connection at home...
I could never even begin to deal with dial up speeds. I get sorta stressed over the 3MB connection being slow.
You just explained how ADD popped up. Imagination seems to have been eliminated from the mind by the incessant desire to constantly be entertained by outside sources. When your first 5 years are spent in front of a TV/playin video games... it makes sense. I hadn't thought about it in a while... because I don't even think about being "bored"... I think about whatever is on my mind, and go do something if I feel like it. Don't remember the last time I was legitimately "bored".
Boredom is a state of mind that knows no bounds. Its all about being unsatisfied with the level of entertainment in front of you... If entertainment is demanded, there will always be a measure of boredom.
