I'm only a chapter into it, but if you're one of the hang-on-his-every-word-love-him-to-death Dylan fans like myself, you must have it.
i know.. i'm into the fourth chapter, and i freakin LOVE it, since i'm such a dylan fiend.. I am trying to cram it all in my brain so i can really really learn from it.. you should ask jorge, he sent it to me. lol. he's read it all.
Yeah... the book is great. I read it in one day and then sent it to Meg. It's really off the wall, as Dylan really is. He just bounces all over the place. At some points it's so off the wall... hahah. 'Tis really a great book.
I heard about it the other day on NPR (national public radio, that is)on Fresh Air, I think and thought it sounded really cool. Guess it's the first part of a projected 3-part Dylan autobiography.
I've read it and it was sooo good! I would say definitely go back and buy it, if you havn't already. Did anyone watch him on 60 Minutes on the 5th? ~Leslie
I've only read the few pages he had posted in whatever magazine that was... seemed really great to me, I couldn't stop reading it and felt really let down when the pages ended. How long is it? I might try and fit it in over the break.
yeah! dylan rules! I got it for Christmas. I did see him on 60 min. What do you think? he barely said anything, but I kinda expect that. And what do you think about him saying that he's not the voice of the generation nor he represents anything? Ok, but... I mean... He is!! HE's great, his lyrics... Did you know he's nominated for a Nobel's Peace prize because of his lyrics? isn't that awsome? and anyone knows his book Tarantula? My god, I couldn't read it. it's so mixed up...
