yo soulrebel if you like the basement tapes which is real good you should check out the "real basement tapes". Its a bootleg of alot of songs they did during the basement tape sessions. Alot of ppl have problem with the commercial released basement tapes because alof the tracks were recorded at different times. the real baement tapes is i think 5 cds long and fuckinng awesome.
He didn't write a few of the songs I listed... they're still really good covers. I've never heard of that, and I dont have any problems with the "real" release... but I'll look for it!
Queen Jane Approximately Desolation Row It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) Tombstone Blues Gates of Eden Ballad of a Thin Man Don't Think Twice To Ramona Subterranean Homesick Blues It's All Over Now, Baby Blue Knockin' On Heaven's Door Corrina, Corrina Like A Rolling Stone I Shall Be Free Boots of Spainish Leather Visions of Johanna I Don't Believe You (She Acts Like We Have Never Met) Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again Obviously Five Believers Girl From the North Country Outlaw Blues Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues Oh shit.
I have way too many... I like his cover of Something and Tombstone Blues the most. Planet Waves and his early stuff.
i like a lot of dylans stuff... his early folk stuff, his electric shit... im not really a fan of 'found jesus' dyaln... but the shits still good. my favourite song though... is 'its alright ma, im only bleedin'
my favorite song would have to be Tangeled Up In Blue but I like his older folkish stuff better but all of his music was good. I went to see him in concert and he is becoming quite the piano player now he didn't touch a guitar all night!
It ain't me babe. Just like a woman Like a rolling stone subterranean homesick blues hurricane tambourine man
Blowin in the Wind Like a Rollin Stone You ain't Going Nowhere It ain't me Babe Time they are a-changin' Subterranean Homesick Blues I want you Positively 4th Street

I'll name just two. I think you all already know that Bob Dylan has no BAD songs but these two always make me feel...different in the very best meaning. I just love these: lay lady lay forever young
i can't think of a best song list. Making a worst song list would be easier, cuz there are so fewer bad dylan songs than good. I could go on and on listing my favortite songs. On each album he's put out he's had atleast one amazing song on it(maybe excluding one or two albums).
Most of the Self Portrait album I can't listen to, its so horrible and ear-wrenching... I find Slow Train Coming to be crap too. I've never heard Dylan, Saved, Shot of Love, Knocked Out Loaded, Down in the Groove, and all of Under the Red Sky... I don't plan to anytime soon, either
