if im getting bloodwork done for medical procedures are they going to detect thc, and if they do is the hospital going to do anything about it?
if I remember correctly, you can't get in trouble for having drugs in your system if that isn't why you are there. its doctor patient confidentiality, unless you are endangering yourself or others. If I were having procedures done I would quit for a week or so, so it won't interfere with the procedure, just in case. I don't think it would interfere, but if you don't know just be honest. I don't think they can say anything about it.
Nah, its all good. I smoked the day before I got my sports physical for school and they had to do a bunch of blood tests.
I had knee surgery a couple yrs back and they just flat out asked me if I used any illegal substances and I was honest. I told them I'm a daily pot smoker. I never heard anything more about it and the surgery went as planned and was successful.
There not even going to test. Its a seperate test you have to it not all in one or something and they have no reason to pay to check because they have no reason to care.
it is no longer required for doctors to take the Hippocratic oath. In any case, you should tell them that you smoke, so that they can adjust medications accordingly. They can't turn you over to the police unless the police take you there, in custody, with paperwork demanding the tests be done. It may or may not show up in the bloodwork, but either way, don't worry.
