haha, fuck that - maybe if i was still drunk i'd do something like that, but not now.

just gonna put a small slice in it, drain it, put some neosporin on, moleskin, then tape it up

oh yea, i know....the socks i were wearing with my leather shoes didn't have any heal support, and my heal was rubbing up on the shoe the whole night out. was dancing a lot, and then at the end of the night, had to walk about a mile back to my car (deliberately parked it on the other side of downtown so i could do a walk to sober up)

so yea, crappy socks, leather shoes, lots of dancing and walking = blisters :D

yea, pretty much. its a blister, but i also damaged some blood vessels and now instead of the clear liquid in the pocket, its filled with some blood along with the other fluids normally in a blister. i didn't puncture the skin, which is why the blood is trapped under the skin.

whatever, i had lots of fun dancing so it was worth ti

The one on your heal is probably a simple blister thats got a bit of blood in the fluid.

Real blood blister usually happy when you get yourself pinched or scuffed right under the skin, you know it instantly cause it fills with pure blood and it throbs.

Most people let any type of blister go a few days so a membrane (scab) can build on top of that skin layer so when you do bust it open its already partially healed and does not hurt, air on open skin is what hurts when you pop a fresh blister.

I like to let the blood blister heal all the way then you just pull off a small dried looking peice of dead skin when its done.

Good luck and dont cry to0o much....blisters are your friend.

Leave it alone, skin heals from underneath. Slicing them open will only reveal raw skin that wasn't ready to be exposed to air. Which will make them hurt more.
Or, if you're a masochist, listen to stinkfoot. ;)

I think you can probably poke the thing with a sterile needle or straight pin. I'd just soak the pin in alcohol or peroxide to be sure it's clean.
Then, just poke it. Press the blood out slowly, then disinfect with whatever you choose to use. Cutting it with a razor or something might open it up too much and cause more pain.

no, i use 99% isopropyl alcohol to sterilize the intstrument that i use, in this case a pin.

the alcohol works better in sterilization. and i don't just poke the blister, i slide it through the skin on the side of the blister. i don't go anywhere near the center of the blister.
