I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but what do blind people "see" or feel on acid? Like...what happens? Do you feel the connection with everything? Is it everything but the visuals? Just wondering. Anyone here blind? lol
At least I'm not the only one who is curious lol But honestly I don't know that many blind people. and the ones I know would never do acid. So damn. I hope someone else can help
What about a color blind person? What about someone missing an extremity? What about midgets? What about mexicans?
That is a great question, I don't know the answer but this guy might. http://www.rotten.com/library/bio/mad-science/terence-mckenna/ Terence Mckenna a true pioneer when it came to the human mind and its interaction with chemicals.
that's what I figured. still though, it'd be very interesting to hear the experience from a blind person
It would probably a sight of the world for them. They would finally see what the world looks like in the way it has been explained to them. It is probably better than being able to see the world and doing acid. Their wildest imaginations coming true. It would be so cool. I could also see it being a terrible trip. All these things they have never seen coming at them, talking, what have you You could easily just drop a tab into their water glass and see what their reactions are. Have them explain it to you. It does seem kind of mean to do that do them though.
I don't think they'd be able to see anything at all. Their other senses would be heightened or interpreted differently by the brain, but think: they have no concept of colours, no visual concept of shapes - though in saying that, they could possibly be able to visualise the shapes that they feel. It'd be hard to know without solid evidence from a blind person, and even then I guess it'd be pretty difficult to put into words, as any trip is.
