Is it worth my time? I know it's not gonna give me that special E feeling, but is it psychedelic?.. Is redosing totally necessary to make the comedown worth while? Not much info on it.
Lets assume you are talking about oral administration.... Do you consider ecstasy psychedelic? If so then most likely you will find methylone psychedelic. Methylone feels good but it doesn't quite push you into a happy feeling like MDMA. Its a very relaxed and content feeling, downtempo music sounds good on it but rarely do I find myself listening to the upbeat music I do on MDMA and I rarely dance on it also. There is not really the color brightening of MDMA and some people including myself don't talk and actually quiet most of the roll. Because its not quite as overwhelming mentally but still feels euphoric I prefer sex on methylone over MDMA. I think one bump is always necessary for methylone if you want an MDMA like duration but the bump can usually be significantly less than the original dose and it will just maintain you at that level. Its a quality drug especially if you only have access to shitty e pills and provides a nice change of pace from hallucinogens. But its not really life changing or anything.

bk-mdma is alright, no lovely feelings or sensory enhancement like MDMA. Just a speedy feeling and euphoria, i can see it being used as a party drug or something. Not psychedelic at the 100mg-300mg dosage mark, but it is a possibility at higher doses. Erowid has some good info on it.
I injected 250+ milligrams of methylone once and it was quite hallucinogenic. Some people say like around 500 mgs oral is a bit disassociative and that may barely be below the level I was at. Cause I felt pretty disassociated but hallucinating heavily.
I found methylone to be a gentler, longer lasting MDMA. It actually releases the same amount of DA and NE as MDMA, but only 33% the amount of 5HT, so it's less of a serotonin bomb and more of a general brain juice increaser for a few hours. I find the stimmy effects tend to linger for way longer and are way stronger than MDMA.
can you cite your source for the bold text? and is that mg/mg? because i find it to be about half as potent as good mdma. but methylone is DEFINITELY worth your time...it's a BEAUTIFUL compound!
Methylone is great. It's not too speedy and doesn't have much of a crash, which is why I like it so much. Lots of people say it's not great for re-dosing, but I didn't have any problems. It's definitely my favorite RC so far.
yeah they are all right, get on it, try the shit out, i like mephedrone more myself. with methylone i would say start out with 150mg oral, and maybe move up to 250mg oral the next time, after i started doing it for a few nights i found nasal was the way to go..imo. i could down a gram in a night pretty easily. you'll love my nuts
I seem to have a unique reaction to Methylone. I've used approximately 2.5g intermittently over a 2 month period, and after weighing the pros an cons I've decided I don't like it afterall. In between spikes of, what I feel is a very superficial and "cheap" version of euphoria, I get these intense pangs of anxiety/despair. It's very internal, as I don't show outward sings of a classic panic attack - I actually feel more sedate than anything when the lows occur. It's possibly the worst emotion I've ever felt, sober or on, and although they typically only last 2-5 minutes it's the deal breaker for me and Methylone. I'm still trying to figure out why I react this way to M1. The wiki quote Mr. Writer posted gave some insight but I still don't understand it fully. Sadly, I don't plan to explore M1 any further. Like I said, I've found my reaction to be unique and it probably won't happen to you, but just know that it could. ETA: As for feeling psychedelic, I do feel a shift in headspace during the peak and comedown. It's subtle, compared to say 2c-x, but it's there. My vision also takes on a "streaky" quality (think dripping/smeared oil paint) and small print becomes impossible to read even with my glasses.
