I'm aloud to say bitching on here...right? lol
(some forums i visit don't like that...) whatever

    QUIT BITCHING ABOUT LABELS!!!!!!!
"oh well labels are for soup cans" blah blah blah...I don't care!!!!! Labels are not things that you have to conform to every aspect of, they are just a vague way of describing people, often those you don't know. So GET OVER IT!!!!! when i call you a hippie, I don't mean THATS ALL YOU ARE. I don't mean all you ever do is skip showers, smoke pot and listen to jimi hendrix. If i call you emo, it doesn't mean all you do is push hair in front of your eyes, cut yourself and listen to fall out boy. No one conforms to any label in every aspect unless they try really hard in which case they would be considered a poser, so just get over this label-bitching business. I have news for you: you wear labels EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!!! If your a sister-thats a label, a mother, thats a label, etc, human is a label...for Chrise sakes, girl and boy ARE LABELS!!!! get over yourself. I understand you are a unique human being and no one else on earth is just like you and if i or anyone else labels you it doesn't mean they are ignoring that fact. okay?

If you prepare it there, and you do so before you give it to me, then it's not my food. So technically, I guess it's OK.

I like labels that way it is easier to judge someone without knowing them.

Labels become negative when they are used with an ideology giving power over others.

    Indeed.

The biggest mistake is labeling yourself... for when you do that you become that label and stop being yourself. :(

It kind of bugs me when people get so uptight about "LABELS!!!!!!" as well. I honestly don't care if people "label" me---it doesn't affect me. I'll continue to think of myself as I always have, with or without "labels."

The only time labels bother me is when they are taken too seriously and used as a way to judge and exclude other people. We all label people in a sense, whether we realize it or not. Learning includes categorizing, and we try to make sense by lumping people together. Hating others because of their so-called labels is when it becomes a problem.

I like this thread mearly for the fact that a see alot of labeling of tohers on this website and its usually negative

I skate in my freetime its fun, I belive in the prosperity of the earth and peace through mankind and i dispise hate, and shouldnt we all? Yet day by day i see even the most commited deny it

Since i skate i can easily be the first to tell you Skaters have some of the worst mindsets but it shouldn't fall into labels or stereotypes, it could even just be the people i know

I guess simple, like you you like be who you want and dont listen to those that disagree though that has been stated by this post i felt it should be repeated

    My label is "Amber."

eh...that's what I tell people when they try and chuck me into a group...all people have set schemas, though. It's part of our brains to group things neatly.

But, I mean...labels are bad. That's been proven. Through science. Scientific science. In a laboratory and everything. With statistics. We live up to ideals we've been given...or worse, ones we've given ourselves. Labels destroy individuality...too bad they're inevitable.

That's why there's crime. And stupidity. And the South.
