Bisexual Awareness Week September 23, 2015 Who knew we bisexuals had our own awareness week. I know from personal experience it is an ignored part of the sexual identity spectrum - and fact is, as mentioned here, it is the most numerous on the bell curve of sexual identity. In fact, one might surmise that EVERYONE is bisexual, except fot a small minority that polarizes to gay or str8. Perhaps we should be more aggressive in trying to bring them into the fold. I have been insulted and confronted by gay men who claim that I am confused because I have the capacity to make love to men or women. This is more hurtful than the ignorant str8 bigots who claim homosexuality is a perversion just because they cannot understand how two ppl of the same gender can be attracted to each other sexually. I will admit that when I am making love to a man I am gay. But then what am I when I am making love to a woman? I did make love to one woman for 20 years and it wasn't just to be "str8 acting." It was hot, passionate, breathless, pounding sex, which we both enjoyed. (And like most married guys, I had a few nights out with the boys during that time). We're Here - We're Half Queer. I just saw it today. It was posted yesterday and today is actually Bisexuality Day. This was in the linked article. By Lambda Legal September 22, 2015 This week marks the annual Bisexual Awareness Week. Additionally, tomorrow, September 23rd, is the 16th annual Celebrate Bisexuality Day.
I know...just making a weak joke...you know, bi-sexual..."half gay - half straight"...posted when the week is half over...yeah...maybe not the funniest joke.
Almost everyone has some degree of bisexuality. It all depends on how "bisexuality" is defined by each individual.
