    Pretty much. Is she late?

The pill prevents a girl from ovulating by giving her homones. If she doesn't take it, she doesn't get the hormones and can ovulate.

I take yasmin and if you miss more than 2 days you can get pregnant. I'm not sure about other pills though. 2 weeks is a long time...how can you forget to take them for two weeks???

Yeah, you're pretty fucked, bro...good luck

Two weeks doesn't sound like an accident. If I have a hectic morning I might space for two hours. Two weeks, though?

yeah, you probably are fucked, as others have said (unless you were using a back-up method, like condoms). first, even skipping one pill can make room for a potential pregnancy. second, right after you stop taking the pill, you are most fertile (and most likely to get pregnant). so her body might have thought that by not taking it for two weeks she was coming off of the hormones, and thus made things even more sticky.

if it's been less than 72 hours since you first had sex (since she was off the pills anyway) then you could look into the morning after pill. but since it's been two weeks you might want to buy her a pregnancy test instead.

not to be rude, but you might suggest that she actually read the little pamphlet of info that comes with the pill, or any form of birth control or medication she takes in the future. if she's missing important info (like not skipping two weeks of pills) then she's probably missing a lot of other important info... i mean, what if she's taking something and is unaware of horrible interactions with other medicines she might be on (ie: antibiotics will make the pill not work). it's just a good habit, no matter what meds you're taking, because you would want to know if something has, say, a deadly interaction.

also, you might want to suggest she look into another form of birth control, since she can't remember to take the pill. the patch stays on for a week at a time, and the depo shot lasts a few months, i think. there are also iuds and things of that sort.
