I'm very afraid to take birth control pills. I just prefer not to mess with the natural cycles and such of my body, which is what birth control does. So I was thinking about going to Planned Parenthood or a place of the like and getting a diaphram. I hear they are difficult to put in, though. And they don't guard against STDs...which is a horrid thought. I wouldn't want to get the clap...or much worse, something permanent like herpes and genital warts...or worst of all...HIV. What about the sponge...does it protect against both pregnancy and STDs? Is the condom the only way to protect yourself against both pregnancy and STDs? Is the sponge similar to the female condom? *sigh* There's just so much out there. I'm not really sexually active. I've only had sex three times (over a space of 2.5 years). I'm going to be 17 soon.
I'm surprised you didn't do your rant about mucous. I thought you'd be all over that like a fat kid on a Smartie.
LOL. Dude, ....I'm still laughin Yea, I remember you Fuzzywuz!! You wrote about birth control in one of the pictures on my profile. hmmm
I take the pill but that doesn't mean that I can't catch an std or get prego. Condoms aren't full proof either! In-fact, I know more then 10 people who have gotten prego while using a condom. So your only sure bet is to not have sex. If you aren't ready for what "might" happen, then don't do it!
RE: So your only sure bet is to not have sex. If you aren't ready for what "might" happen, then don't do it! The only side-effect of this is people assuming there's something wrong with you, you're secretly gay, or attributing anything you say that they don't agree with to "repression"
