    Lovely pictures... reminds me of paddling at Hebden Bridge with the ducks last summer...

    me like this one i think theres a hint of humour to the photograph.. i love their heads being so hig and the way you caught one walking.. makes me think of goose step nazi style

    wowo how do you get so close.. and also.. have non blurry pics and not scare birds

    Most of the birds were reasonably friendly, but zoom lenses certainly help ;)

    What type of camera / lens / settings?

    The camera I uses is a Canon 300D Digital Rebel. I use a variety of lenses - main is a Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Mk2, but for the longer zooms I mainly use a Sigma AF 55-200mm f/4-5.6 DC. 'Settings' will vary from shot to shot.
