Birds in Norway fly high thanks to unsuspecting granny

A granny in Norway who scattered birdfeed in a flowerbed outside her retirement home unknowingly fed them cannabis seeds -- and ended up with the wrong kind of pot in her garden, daily Drangedalsposten reported.

"It was my grandchildren who noticed it. 'Hey grannie, that's hashish you have there. You can't grow that in your garden' they said," 81-year-old Inger Livold told the paper published Thursday.

The cannabis seeds must have been inside the bag of birdfeed, the newspaper said.

Livold called the police herself to alert them to the illegal plants, and they came and tore them up.

She is not expected to face any legal troubles.

That's weird, about a year ago the same thing happened to one of my mates parents. They threw bird seed in soil and they got weed... they destroyed it too

But I think there may be a way to smuggle cannabis seeds easily...

 

It wouldnt be that great bud, shwag probably. No one pays attention to a weed when there gardening, so I doupt it got any attention.

 

i think hemp is actually sold as birdseed lol i think theyre meant to sterilise it or soemthing first. i dunno. but yeh its sold as seed, probably where she lives in norway
