ok, ur posts are getting annoying.. i cant tell if u do this stuff cause ur being sarcastic and u like getting a laugh out of all of us getting all angry, or if u actually are an over zealous priest like u act like. either way, y dont u stop?

im going to assume that u are serious for right now.. first off, most of the time ur posts are uninformed, but ur a priest, so we will cut u some slack on the fact that u probably dont have much experince.. secondly, y do u keep calling us sinners? yes i sin, yes u sin, yes we all sin.. errr ur a priest shouldnt u kno that? theres no need to accuse and judge us. doesnt the Bible say that God is the judge of man, not you?... and finally, why do u even post to change the things we do? when u post u sound like a small minded bigot. y would decide to become a Christian if the ones who are trying to convert me seem less loving then the atheists? you seem kinda like this priest and his congregation who traveled 3 hours to protest at this soldiers funeral, protesting for peace and against gay marriage (btw there was no reason to belive that the soldier was gay ne way), people were just completly turned off to their church b/c of the way the members act..

The difference is that I do not sin. Or at least not at the scale you do. Not you personally, but this is directed to all the drug-abusers.

As for your second question; yes, God is the final judge. His words are spoken on Judgement Day. Think about the logic. Would you rather God send you to Hell or He welcomes you to Heaven?

I was actually thinking a lot about this today. I am a Christian, I have a deep faith, and yes, I smoke a lot of pot. I am a sinner. Whoever reads this is a sinner. There is one who has not sinned, and this is Jesus Christ. Father Bennet, do you believe that posting negative comments to people you will never meet actually change their ways, let them see it your way, and live by your rules, because you said it on a forum? You have to gain someone's respect first. Gain their acceptance before they will be willing to change their ideas. You said that you are a sinner, but not to the extent we are. Is sin actually the act committed? Or is it the willingness to stray from God's chosen ways? Sin is equal in God's eyes, not murder or lying or smoking, but actually deviating from His path for us. We all sin, no matter what the sin is, and the important part is that we recognize this and look for forgiveness. Also, it is not our responsibility or place to say who is going to hell or heaven, only God can and will do that. Who are you, who am I to say this? I am Ben and God is God. The Bible also states, and I'm paraphrasing here, to take up every herb, every seed-bearing plant of the earth. And with all the positive effects of cannabis, medicinal, fuel, protein, clothing, food, it can do so much good for mankind, how can God not approve of it somewhat.
