http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x21917 Found this the other day, it's kinda funny. Geraldo and O'Reilly really lay into each other, and O'reilly is about to have a stroke at several points... It's something about nativism.
you know their is no reason to try and convert the true believers. trying to talk PR out of his conspiracies is like trying to teach a pentacostal evolution. it just ain't gonna happen.
I know it's not "FAKE" because I saw it myself. I don't, however, believe it was a genuine argument. O'Reilly's ratings have been slipping and he's desperate for these higher ratings. These people are talking heads -- establishment shills. The only opinions they have are the ones they're paid to have. If O'Reilly believed a word that came out of his mouth, I'd seriously be surprised. The guy is nothing more than a company man and propagandist for the Bush administration. Geraldo isn't any better. Then again, if you believe everything you see on TV as being real, your attitudes do not surprise me.
So Lou Dobbs is paid to get all worked up about a North American Union? Or you mean all the talking heads are paid to lie except when their views agree with yours? I should keep in mind this coming from someone who considers Alex Jones a good source.
When you are a conspiracy theorist you get to just make thing up as you go along and abandon arguments whenever they become inconvenient.
the guy with the mustache is the clear winner and should have just stood up halfway though, cracked off a fart and walked out
I love Bill. He's the best thing to happen to television. People who "hate" Bill or get pissed off by Bill are priceless.... they are the ones that give him the ratings. Bill is entertainment, and he figuered out one of the best ways to entertain people and make money at it.
I'd like to line O'Reilly,Limbaugh and Savage up and bitch-slap 'em like Mo used to do to Larry and Curly.
"speaks volumes to my character"? I hope it speaks volumes of Tolstoy, I get bored of reading War and Peace... I would like something to speak it to my character.
You know, Geraldo is the guy who was expelled from Iraq for drawing future military operations in the sand while he was on live television.
