really? actually I guess that's true. I guess the people I hang out with don't argue with me about opiates cause they all know two things: A. I am smarter than they are, especially when it comes to any kind of pharmaceutical B. I forgot more about opiates than they'll ever know Because of that they generally ask me questions about opiates (most of my friends don't do them) or don't talk about them. But I definitely remember trying to explain something about opiates to one of my friends...wow.. I just wanted to kick his ass he was being so stupid. -V

Do you think a drug can be another drug at the same time?!?! Do you even know that eating heroin is a WASTE?!?!? Or, "hey man, acid works by melting parts of your brain onto your spine. Thats why they can only test acid through the spine. If you pop your back, its can cause flashbacks dood..." They are SO sure about it too!!! There is no convincing these people either. Spens, codemeister, V, I agree with all of you. I know I'm relativley new here but on the forums and in real life these kinds of incidents happen all the time. I'm right with you, I absolutley detest when people refer to oxycontin as oxycotton. A VERY poignant reminder of this happenin was in my 11th grade health class. The teacher was talking about the many evils of painkiller abuse and he went on to say,"....and one of the mostly abused painkillers Is 'oxycotton' which over...." at this point I realized that if the person put on charge of my education on a subject did not even know the correct term for the drug then he was no kind of authority at all. I think that people are stupid when it comes to things like "LSD in your spinal chord and flashbacks from cracking your back" because a) people in general are stupid (myself sometimes included), b) they can't even be bothered to ask someone knowledgeable or research a drug themselves they rather just repeat what they hear in the media. or what their favourite musical artist says. And finally c) people are stubborn and sometimes don't want to hear the truth. Idk maybe I'm over analyZing this whole thing but yeah, I'm right with you guys. Peace
kinda OT, but since there are knowledgable folks in this thread... Are OC 10's and 20's just less dense than 40's and 80's? Or are there actually filler ingredients in them? When I work with 10's and then try a 40 or 80, the only difference seems to be the density, like the 80's are just pressed tighter. With a 10 I just use cards, they cut through it like butter, but if it's an 80 I have to have a very sharp knife to do it.
yeah, they are more dense. For two reasons. One, they are time released and they have a coating on them that makes them slightly harder. Two, and the main reason is that there is more material to put into one pill that doesn't naturally stick together. 40mg of oxycodone has to be pressed harder than 10mg of oxy in the same pill. "filler" is in all pills. It is usually starch (or is it something else with a s...) that is used to make the pill stick together. It is made into a mixture then pressed into a tablet/pill. So yeah, the higher ones are more dense.
Ha Ha! This reminds me of a "friend" who thinks she knows EVERYTHING and she called me up today and this is how our convo went..... Her...."I just got a call from a friend who says he has 30 mg codiene pills without tylenol in them and he is only going to sell them to me for $6. Boy, he is really stupid for selling them so low since they are 30 mg's. So I am going to buy them all." Me.."Well you know that all they are is Tylenol 3's. " Her...."yeah, but they are MUCH stronger!!" Me..."NO, tylenol 3's have 30mg of codiene and 325 mg's of tylenol and he has straight 30mg's of codiene (no tylenol)" Her..."Yes but it is straight codiene so it is way stronger!!!" By this time I am getting sooo upset because she is oblivious to the fact that 30 mg's is 30 mg's whether there is tylenol in the pill or not. I finally told her to go ahead and waste her money. At least it isn't my cash.
Yeah I notice a lot more people use SWIM in the other drug forums, but not so much in the opiates forum. and a LOT of people use it in the MJ forum. My biggest pet peeve is just like almost everyone else said... Smart dumb motherfuckers. People who act like they know everything, yet never researched a thing in their lives. I hate when people say that they have 500mg vics and then try to argue with me about it not having apap in it. It isnt just a one time thing that has happened to me, i seem to get into alot of arguements about it. But now i have learned to just stay out of it. These people also always seem to be claiming that xtc, acid, shrooms and whatever else puts holes in your brain... funny trend going on there.
Now what else bugs me? People who take baby percs or 5mg vicodin and then get on your case about "oh my god I would never take oxy" like it's so Riskay to take a oxycontin then you try to explain to them it all comes from the same plant.What a bunch of swimtards lol.
