Or something really fattening. Living without chocolate or burgers is pretty easy for me, for example. But triangular tortilla-chips with spicy tomato dip...
Microwave pizzas and dinners. I have a full kitchen here, but I still end up eating a microwave meal a day just because I like them so much.
I rarely ever eat fast food, so I can't say that I have any weaknesses as far as that is concerned. But give me a big ol' slice of my made by yours truly triple layered swiss chocolate cake with creamy fudge filling, frosted with lucious vanilla buttercream icing, topped with a thin, smooth marshmallow fondant and I'm in heaven. *swoons* Needless to say, lately when I practice my cake decorating, I give away free samples, because if that cake sits in my house, it just calls my name until I can't stand it anymore and I'm giving into the temptation to devour! And if I want to stay in my size 4 jeans that I've worked so hard to get back into after having the kids, I have to watch it! *laughs*
I can't stand the microwave. Frozen pizzas are delicious though (although they have zero nutrition). I usually cook them in the oven. The real oven.
A huge tub of lard, straight from the tub...no utensil required, it's hands-on... Hmm, onion rings I guess.. I dunno...(though after a few they start having a bland funky taste)
Fast food doesn't really appeal to me...hasn't for 2-3 years, maybe more. I use to be like BSR and do lots of microwave things. But rarely have touched the microwave the past 3-4 years. I am scared to think how badly it has effected my health. If you want fast food, do it yourself..you can do a yummy mushroom mutter (Indian) in minutes with no effort.
Yeah, but you know... it's those little ones, the really small single ones that you can put in the microwave. I probably eat a good 5 meals a day and cook at least 3 of them... but I really don't have any time to cook on my lunch break from work (30 minutes), so the microwave is where it's at.
I like pizzas, although they usually aren't from a fast food place. I down large pizzas like Shaggy and Scooby and still stay bone thin. .
the biggist weakness of fast food is its lack of diversity of all the different kinds of things we really need to be gratified. i haven't been by a fast food joint in ages. partially because i don't go out that often, and partially because when i do, diverseity is precisely what i look for. diversity still as cheeply as i can find it, but diversity first and always. my own fast food, that i subsist on at home, whatever else there is in the house to add to it or not, is noodles and broth. with a little lemon in the broth, both for the c that keeps the illness away, and to not need as much sodium. i do like those deli's they have in the stores, especially the ones that have a place where you can sit down and eat it. i wish though, that they had more bento boxes, like i see pictures of their having in the stores in japan, that started out being something they sold on rairoad station platforms before trains had buffettes on board and stopped longer for people to get on and off. i think that would be the best 'fast food' of all. some stores have some things a little like that, and then the deli's are kindof almost sort of the same idea. if i'm gonna go for real cheep and really fast, those hot dogs in the gas minimarts, and put pickles and hot souce on them, or the cheese from the nacho dispenser. there's a 7-11 near me that has tamalis too. the one where i get milk, because they have it cheeper there, believe it or not, then in the real stores, i mean real ones (the tamalis that is), wrapped in corn husks, not plastic. or not just plastic anyway. i also like udon yah's, which in america, which is the only place i've ever lived, are called terriyaki joints. there was one, when i lived up in oregon which called itself the super bowl. well that's me and the noodles again. with lots of good stuff in them. just like what i make myself at home. =^^= .../\...
I hate fast food......except for Wendy's fries. Those and some mustard and I'm in chubby girl heaven.
wendy's junior bacon cheeseburgers...oh they're so delicious and white castle's sliders...DEE-LICIOUS!
I work at Dairy Queen, so I guess the whole employment would be my weakness. For lunch most days, I have a kids cheeseburger with only ketchup and tater tots, or a kids meal with chicken strips, or a chicken wrap (lettuce, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, and a chicken strip in a tortilla). Lately, though, we have jalapeño ranch dressing and pepperjack cheese, so I have a junior burger (same size as the kids' burger) with pepperjack, lettuce, and the jal. ranch. However, if I didn't work there, I probably wouldn't really have any fast food weakness.
lattes at the starbucks drive through. I have been so good at just getting unsweetened iced green tea when I need a pick-me up. As far as the really bad stuff I have not even allowed myself to think about lately Sonic's grilled cheese...OMG SO GOOD
definitely pizza, and anything with cheese.. i think.. yeah... and shrimp... breaded shrimp that is..
