So, I found out tonight, that in addition to seeing John Prine next Saturday in Toronto, I'll also be seeing Bob Dylan on November 3rd in London (Ontario obviously). Fuckin A.
Prine is a better show, just so ya know. But Dylan fans should see him a time or two live. Pray for a good sound guy! If you like prine, check out John Gorka, Ellis Paul and Vance Gilbert.
Good for you, Scrambled Megg Sandwich. Apparently, I might be seeing Tool tomorrow. () I don't really care either way, but I guess someone has an extra ticket... so there's that.
I like Loudon Wainwright III, not so much that I'd see him in concert I don't think though... I am kinda expecting Prine to put on a better show, and I heard he does a ton of old stuff at his shows, which is mostly what I know/was raised on. But yeah, I'm totally excited for Dylan, solely because it's Bob fucking Dylan Even if he sounds like crap these days.. Derek.. Tool? Scrambled Megg Sandwich? What?
I know someone who saw him last year in glasgae, says he can still do his thing, and is totally worth seeing
Bob Dylan's coming at the Bell Centre in Montréal on novembrer 8 ... I'd like to see him live at well... Now i must convince Seb to come with me and give me a ride in his guzzling plymouth
I figure'd so much.. Judging by his most recent albums.. my brother's got em all so I hear them incessantly. I like it tho. He still does SOME old stuff though, doesn't he? Or rearranges it?
My friends saw him this summer. Apparently he plays a lot of material from Time Out Of Mind, as well as his new stuff, and a few gems. His new stuff doesn't do it for me. Nothing sets it apart from the other 100,000 'bluesy' albums coming out from aging rockers.
Ahah yeah, I mean.. I like his new stuff, but I'll never LOVE it like I do with his older stuff... Ask your friend if he sounded like he was dying while he played. I hear sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't.
Yeah... he does alot of country and blues kinda stuff now. Ahah... I like the way he dresses now. I always think he looks like some kind of sheriff or marshal in the old west.
I kinda like the countryish stuff Dylan does... Then again, I'll listen to country for the hell of it now and then... I like your sig George But I don't hate Wilson. It makes me think of cast away ahhaha
Megg And Cheese Breakfast, you should listen to the album Sweetheart of the Rodeo by the Byrds. Don't question, just do it.
