damn that sounds nice. i do prefer the ruination, though, but the regular ipa is pretty awesome, too. i had some high life. it's low brow, but what can i say? i'm broke, and sometimes i kind of like macros.
You 24-year-old bastard.... Oh well, this is what I get for moving half a country away to a place where I don't know anyone and don't have a fake ID.
in the past year i've found 9 fully unopened beers just laying on the ground around town at various times once three cans of high life once a can of natty and once five cans of pbr now natty is gross, but in the other instances finding the beer was a godsend
That's because you have the luxury of drinking whenever and whatever you please. And BTW, not paying $20 for an entire factory is an extremely bad business decision.
I have personally thrown a case with 20 beers in it into the woods. My, how that has come back to haunt me...
I got a sixpack of Foster's Lager for $5.49 at Walmart in NH. Just polished off my last Sea Dog blueberry wheat beer... I couldn't afford the Belgian beer I wanted this week... Was going for bargains. sigh* Oh, yeah, & I bought a 12 pack of Amstel Light for $10.99... :/ ...Roughing it lately. Stupid shitty economy.
yeah, and the best part was i was FLAT broke. like 3 dollars to my name, so it was a godsend. i was out for a walk and they were just lying in the grass nearby the liquor store i can't figure out why someone left them, though oh well. weird things happen in college towns i guess
if you can find it and if prices are anything close to similar to here, i suggest celis grand cru. its a very well crafted belgian style ale from michigan. its about 7-8 bucks a sixpack, and for the quality its a steal. also, it's like 8%ABV or something, so close to twice the strength of many beers on the market. not that it's necessarily a selling point except that you get more for your money. either more of a buzz if thats what you're going for or fewer beers per sitting and make it last longer
