Anyone have suggestions for vape pens that can use wax? Ideally I'd like to spend around 60$ but I wouldn't mind spending more. I don't really know a lot about different vape pens so please leave links/suggestions. Thanks.

I would recomend spending more then $60 for a good one. You will probably need to spend $200-300 but for that you will have something good quality. The PAX is a good one and it comes with warranty.

What I'm using now for daily on the go is the micro G pen. This is the same basic set up as the cloud or elips pen. It's a simple design with three parts, battery, cartridge and mouthpiece. It's available on ebay for really cheap. I just recently bought a couple for friends of mine and got 2 for $25. The biggest problem with these is that it kind of ruins the taste of the oil. There's a taste that goes along with the wick/coil heating element that's pretty unpleasant. You get some tasty hits but the flavor is nowhere near as good as doing a dab.

I think the next pen set up I'll upgrade to is an ego 510 threaded battery with variable output and a gentleman's brand hash oil atomizer. That's probably around the $40-$50 range depending on the battery.

I found some on Ebay... Why are they so cheap? Are they stolen or counterfeit or something? I might just do it for the hell of it but.. idk.

All the pens that look like that are the same basic standard parts made in factories in China. They're available wholesale for dirt cheap so companies like Grenco buy them, put a label on and mark up the price. You can get them cheap on ebay because ebay wholesalers can buy the same parts from China and sell them at whatever price they like and still make money. If you buy the off brand product you might get something that feels a little poorly made, but the battery tends to work well enough and you can buy quality replacement cartridges which are also affordable.

Portable BHO vaporizers are the way of the future man. Get on that shit while people still don't know much about it. You can use it anywhere and people very rarely even notice.

ive had 2 cloud pens that both broke within 4 months of buying them. the battery wouldnt heat the atomizer, bought multiple atomizers, same problem... it was the battery, on BOTH pens! when the 1st one broke i mailed it back to cloud people who say they exchange the battery packs.. well long story short they never mailed me a new one, but suggested i contact the post office because they must have lost the package. BOTH TIMES! i guess im a gullible stoner but i think its bad business and bad products!!! ultimately bought some cheap battery part on eBay which has been goin strong and getting me baked on the go for a solid 8-10 months-ish.

if you dont want to read that ^ just basically stay away from cloud pens unless you like wasting your money and receiving very condescending emails from the cloud company.

I recommend the Gentleman's brand pens. I had one that went bad, contacted them by e-mail, and they gave me a code to enter on their website for a free upgraded replacement. http://www.gentlemansvapes.com/

    Yes indeed!

I just got my order in of the gentleman's hash oil atomizer and an ego battery off ebay. Total cost with 3 atomizers and shipping was $45. Definitely the best tasting pen I've ever tried.

Depends on what "ebay pen". But in general I would say you get what you pay for.

Interesting, I've never heard it called a vape pen. We just say vape or pv (personal vaporizer.)

Although I started vaping to quit smoking and only use a nicotine juice, I have a KangerTech EVOD VV battery with a Kanger T3S tank. The batteries are about $25 and the tanks are $10. With that being said they are phasing out the T3S to only dual coil tanks from what I've been told.

I've no idea how this would work with hash oil, but they work great for me with nicotine juice.

Here's an odd question. Do you prefer to have your vape pen/e-cig to look all mechanical/steampunk or do you want it to look like a cigarette?

I've seen a steampunk setup that was really cool. Personally, I can't stand the cig-likes.

It doesn't matter what my pen will look like, as long as it is thin, for my fngers to hold, and writes and flows beautifully.......like some gel ink pens that flow....and do not stop and go....like bic pens do.
