best vacation isn't a place, although riding arround on a train could be part of it. best vacation is out in the boonies somewhere and not having to worry about anything. no one arround you don't want to be arround and none of having to anything. inforced inactivity isn't my idea of a vacation either, although meditating or sitting still to not scare away little creatures so you can watch them or let them say hi to you is ok. that's why beaches are just boring crap to me, but walking arround up in the hills in the forest is cool. and not just walking all the time either, but sitting on a nice flat rock watching the rest of nature, and building improvised shelter and stuff like that from what you find there. i don't know, i have to be doing something creative and imaginative or exploring so to speak, somewhere some how. but it's not a matter of having to go to anywhere in particular, just to explore and get inspired by someplace, any place really, that i'm not all the time. =^^= .../\...
I spent a month in the Greek isles, camping on beaches. That was awesome. I haven't been on a proper vacation in a while. Last time was in Cornwall with my boyfriend which was nice. Very chilled out, lots of good food, amazing scenery. Good times. Our next holiday is gonna be in March or April. We're gonna hike the Hadrian's wall path, 134.5 kilometers (or 84 miles). I'm really looking forward to that, the scenery is supposed to be amazing and I just love camping.
my best vacation was with my boyfriend, we went to hamilton island off the great barrier reef and did just about everything you can on an island, including, scuba diving, jet skiing, hang gliding, catamaraning, sailing, swimming, snorkling etc etc my second best vacation was with my best friend, we did a round world trip, shopping in singapore, sightseeing in london, museum and chapel going in france, skiing in switzerland. my next trip is going to be USA on my lonesome. I've been to the US many times before but haven't seen all the cities yet and I think I'm going to end up working over there for about 3 months or something which should be fun!
if being out in the boonies with no one around you is what you think the best vacation is then i go to the best vacation spot everyday. My boyfriend and i (well me somewhat) live in the boonies. Its nice but it gets boring. We can only order from one place and no one is really around. lol
in the country is what i call boonies.....i live in pa............well pretty close to maryland when i am at my boyfriend's(which i am here all the time)
A couple months ago I went on a road trip to Cleveland. We saw the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, ate at the Hard Rock (which was the ghettoest looking Hard Rock I've seen), and went to the House of Blues for a good ol Reggae show. The Supervillians, Inner Cirlce, and Slightly Stoopid played. It was probably the most fun I've had on vacation because all the other times I've been young. In 93 my family rented this huge cabin near Grand Lake in Colorado. It was in the heard of winter so we spent a week on snowmobiles, 4 wheelers, sleds, inner-tubes, skiis, boards, and whatever else we could find. It was fun just to fuck around in the deep DEEP snow for a week, but I wish I was older so I could've enjoyed it more.
I like boonies. Im surrounded by thousands upon thousands of people. If you google earth whitby ontario its le naste.
I lived in the boonies throughout high school. I like livin in the city now, but close enough to go back and chill for a while when I need it.
like dont get me wrong its a cool place because you dont have a lot of cops that come around so you can go for a drive and get high without really caring about the cops its just like for me and my boyfriend to go to the movies from his house it is about a 45min drive and there are only a few stores (if you want to count the dollar store as a store) and there are pizza places about 10mins away but only one place orders to us. so it just stinks sometimes,it really stinks when you are high and the only place that orders to you is the same pizza place that you order something from almost every other day.
