What do you think is the best stick it to the man rebellion song? Personally, i think "killing in the name" by rage against the machine is.
My personal favorites are "Bomb The World", "Oh My God", "We Don't Stop", and "Skin on the Drum" by Spearhead, "September 12th" by Saul Williams, "Signs" by The Five Man Electrical Band, "Self Evident" by Ani D, "Hurricane" by Bob Dylan, and "Working Class Hero" by John Lennon.
Its obviously the theme from Revenge of the Nerds. The nerds will rise up and take this world!!! muhahahaha!
That's Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2 I think part 3 is better: I don't need no arms around me, And I don't need no drugs to calm me, I have seen the writting on the wall. Don't think I need anything at all, No, don't think I need anything at all. All in all it was all just bricks in the wall, All in all you were all just bricks in the wall. And how about Minority by Green Day? Killing in the Name's a good one as well, and Manson's Fight Song: I'm not a slave to a God who doesn't exist, And I'm not a slave to a world that doesn't give a shit.
"It's uh stickittodaman-iosis" "........I've never heard of it" "....you're lucky....coz it's hell." hehehe floyd wins I reckon.
hmmmmmm...... fight song - marilyn manson another brick in the wall - pink flloyd Holiday - Greenday thats all i got so far.... peace and love xxxxxxx
My favorite is "Fortunate Son" by CCR, but Public Enemy has some good ones, including "Fight the Power."
Not so much into the music, but Minor Threat, if you can understand them, have some awesome lyrics. Of music i like alot, I'd probably go with...i dont know...but Living End has a pretty cool song. Ahh, now i know my favorite stick it to the man song: Country Joe's I-Feel-Like-Ima-Fixing-To-Die-Rag. Not so much with the times, but an awesome song.
I think Iced Earth has made some nice anti-religious songs (Brainwashed, Disciples of the lie) and I think most of their songs / concept albums are to be interpreted morally (also anti-war and pro-tolerance), but most aren't as direct as the two I mentioned. Then there's Dimmu Borgir's Blessings upon the throne of tyranny, of which the lyrics are too wrapped up in mysticism and metaphoric to deliver the message well, but the line "give praise and inhale the corruption" is quite nice. Another great anti-religious anthem is Ancient rites - Götterdämmerung. Great lyrics. The rest of the bands are too busy worshipping satan to think up solid reasons for not worshipping god, and you'll have an even harder if not impossible job to search for an anti-war or pro-tolerance song within the mangled bowels of "the scene"...
"master's of war" by bob dylan that song is fuckin good as hell also "it's alright ma" by bob dylan is real good too. But i dno if that is a "stick it to the man" song
