I was wondering what movie, picture, or even song (preferably video) you think most accurately shows what occurs on an acid trip.

I haven't watched too many movies where people take LSD, but I would have to say Jack Black did the worst job.
The best representation of a lower dose trip I have seen was from the movie Taking Woodstock with Demetri Martin.
I can't find a video of that specific scene, but it didn't go all nuts showing crazy hallucinations and such, it just showed everything brighter, and it showed the tapestry on the ceiling moving with exaggerated colors. It showed the characters moving around on top of eachother and rolling around a bit. Then it shows them walk outside into woodstock and it shows the people as an ocean almost, with waves emanating from the center along with light coming from the singers.

Yup, the scene in Taking Woodstock was extremely realistic. :) The majority of Enter The Void is a guy coming down off of acid.

I could relate to a lot of what happens in Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas when they're tripping

Movie= Harvard Man is the best representation of LSD ive seen probably (its the only movie where the guy talks like he's tripping that ive seen) but the movie kinda sucks, I haven't seen Taking Woodstock.

    Songs:
The Beatles: Within you without you
    Jimi Hendrix: Purple Haze
    Chemical Brothers: The Test
    Shpongle: Shpongle Spores
    Tool: Lateralus

First, you might be just talking movies but the PO said; "I was wondering what movie, picture, or even song (preferably video) you think most accurately shows what occurs on an acid trip."

As for Penny Lane, it is an almost perfect description of walking down the street when on acid. That perfectly clear realization of all that is around you.

Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes. ;)

Also, agree on the beavis and butthead jawn, but that is more like what they actually take than LSD. Also reminded me a bit of some of my mushroom trips when I was in my teens! I remember once eatin them and going for a ride in the back of a van and the scenes that unfolded on the sides of that van were just like that cartoon lol. Especially with the fractal pattens made of bugs crawling outwards and the little demons morphing into body parts.
