Best Movies While High (Parallel Thread)

The thread in here about playing video games when you're stoned got me thinking. I'm a huge movie buff, so I was wondering if there are films people watch regularly, or just ones that were particularly good. I got home pretty late and pretty stoned this weekend and watched March of the Penguins. That was sweet. I borrowed a copy of Reefer Madness (the black/white version) too, but I haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet.

Hell yeah, man....Grandma's Boy is a must-see.

I like watching the Lord Of The Rings trilogy all the way through and smoking the whole time with nobody else around. That shit gets deep. I still want to watch the trilogy while I'm tripping......that's gotta be crazy.

 

Chill, bro . Movies change. If everyone just kept refreshing old threads they'd all be 50 pages long and no one would really listen to what others have to say.

I really need to buy 40 year old virgin, it's my favorite comedy to date but I still haven't bothered to get it

 

Movies that are popular with stoners don't change every 2 weeks which is about the frequency of which one of these threads pops up here. Oh now a 50 page thread how terrible. The pic thread which really is more of an ongoing discussion is over 150 pages last time I checked and fairly active so i don't buy tha tpeople wouldn't listen. and I'm not sure who is listening to what everyone has to say about the same old movie selections

 

I've still never seen that movie, but it can't be better than Grandma's Boy. Have you seen it?

Grandma's Boy? no actually, I had plans to see it in the theater when it came out, but they fell through and I still haven't rented it. How about I see it in the next week and you see 40 year old virgin so we can do a comparison? The real question is whether or not to get stoned first (for the sake of objectivity). That seems like a pretty easy question, though.

 

ive watched grandmas boy and harold and kumar high and not high so many times that its reallty not that funy anymore, i have to like go on a break like with weed, so my funny tolerance goes down.

 

Just spend a few weeks watching really depressing stuff. I'd recommend Crash and Munich. They're both AMAZING movies (Crash changes my life every time I watch it), but they're really downer.

Crash is a good ass movie, man.

 

Crash has a big ensemble cast and a bunch of story-lines, so it's hard to really sum up. It takes place in LA and overall, it's about race. It's absolutely amazing, and it got the oscar for best picture last year.

 

i saw this movie from like the 50's, called "The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T."
it's tripped out as fuck.
i just looked into it, and it was written by Dr. seuss.

I think that's the right one, I've seen like 15 minutes of it.
