Your poll seems to be lacking Corgi's and German Shepards. They get my vote.

I love weenier dogs!!! Sooooo much, but my vote was for pit's.

The Australian "Border Collie" Has Repeatedly Been Voted The Most Intelligent Dog In The World.............[IMG]

Footnote......Just So Happens My Nearest Neighbour (1km away)....Has Bred....Shown.... Competed In "Championship Sheepdog Trials".....And Trained Collies..... For Many Australian... And Overseas T.V.Commercials... For Near On... 20 Years.....[IMG]............And Is More Than Happy To Bring The Young Pups Over To My Farm....To Both Train Them......And To Help Me Muster My Sheep...

    Cheers Glen.

P.S....The Really Scarey Part.........I'd Rate Them Far More Intelligent.....And Responsive Than Most Humans I Have Known.........[IMG]......[IMG]

What is an "Australian" Border Collie? I've only heard of Border Collies, and they originate from the English/Scottish border, hence the name Border Collie.

    Hi..PressedRat

Yes Your Description Of The Origin Of The Border Collie Is Correct....[IMG]...After Reading Your Post I Drove Over To The Neighbours Farm...To Pose Your Question To Him........Just So Happens The Secetary Of The "Australian Border Collie Association".....Had Arrived Only Minutes Earlier On The Way To A "Dog Trial".......The Explanation They Gave Me Was........Since The Breed Was Introduced To Australia.......Australian Breeders Have **Enhanced** The Breed.....Way Beyond What It First Was.............Hope This Helps To Explain The Difference........[IMG]

    Cheers Glen.

P.S....Must Hang My Head In Shame Once More.....[IMG]......Cauuuuuuse They Also Said The Most Intelligent Dog In The World.......Is The "POODLE".......[IMG]...

mixed breeds are invariably healthier and more intellegent then ANY pure breeds.

nothing which can crossbreed ought to be prevented from doing so. just their fertillity reduced when population gets out of control. just as that of ('domestic') cats and humans needs to be.

:hurray: Seeing how I have a Corgi, I have to agree..

    Corgi would get my vote.

I love all those breeds, however I'd choose a rottwieller.

I have two english boxer dogs and i love them to bits. we've had a total of 3 but one sadly died.

One of ours is old and fat and one is skinny and young so its a funny mix.

Boxers really act like humans, if you shout at them they sulk haha.

i like bulldogs too. anything with those droopy cheeks haha.

i have 4 huskies... the dad (chico :D) is half husky and german shepard (brown/white fur). the momma is a malamute husky (black/white fur) she also has wolf blood, she has blue eyes... part of her left eye is kinda brown though. she had a litter of 7, one died... i gave away 4. so i have 2 puppies about half a year old now. the male has awesome blue eyes and the other has them playful brown eyes. they are very affectionate by nature. they do bark/talk and warn if someone is coming along... they also howl like wolves/coyotes and they would probably attack if i was being attacked :D since im considered the alpha of the pack.
