Best friends, Depression, Cutting, Hillbillies, and Internet Girlfriends

My best friend, whom I live with just recently let her ex-girlfriend move into her room.
Now I didn't have a problem with this....until I met the girl. She is straight po-dunk from the swamps of Louisiana. And butch, as well. I'm talking, a jacked-up home peirced nose ring, two eyebrow rings, self-cut butchered hair, jaggedy green-ish teeth, 9th grade education, 20 years old and never worked a day in her life. For the past two years, this girl has met lesbians online, moved in with them, done drugs until they kicked her out, and has to move back home.
My best friend thought, hey..i'll help this girl out. Move her out here, get her a job, and get her to straighten her life up. HA!!!!!!!!
She's been here two weeks, hasn't worked a day, can't get a job (probably because technically she's an 8th grader), has been popping pills and smoking pot all day, been giving my BF pills, getting into arguements with her, making her cry, and using her cell phone to call Canada. Why? Because that's where her ONLINE girlfriend is! Basically, she moved her to be four states closer to Canada...and is trying to get the girl to move here (who can't move countries because she's on probation for causing injury and bodily harm to some other girl....sounds sweet huh?) Amazing...amazing to me....I don't fucking get it. Why does my friend fucking ASSOCIATE with people like this?
Why? I'll tell you why. She has NO self respect, nor self esteem. I don't know why! We had a great winter together. Everything was peachy fucking keen. We had a blast. Now...this summer...she's been crying...depressed...moody...all the time.
I got a call at work...she was crying and choking on her own breathe. She had cut herself. I left work immediately. She was walking outside in the rain.
I looked at her arm to find about 40-50 cuts from her wrist all the way up to her shoulder.
She was upset because a guy who lived with us at the time didn't like her...and was mean to her. Also, her mother wouldn't talk to her or console her. She was scared to talk to her because she didn't want to further upset her. I was all she had....
The guy who lived with us...flipped out one day and beat the crap out of her. I had him arrested, and haven't seen him in weeks.
So, one bad apple gone...another bad apple falls back in. The hillbilly from Louisiana.
I can't get over this bitch. She's NASTY. After she's done fucking my friend, she runs out to the den, and shoves her fingers in my face. Disgusting. All she does is watch tv all day, and has managed to find the nastiest people in the area.....guys who live in crappy motels with no teeth who sell her pot and pills.
I asked her one day "Why are you doing pills when you came out here to get clean and get a job?"
"I ain't doin' no drugs! I just sum pills. I hope you don't think bad of me."
"I don't know you that well...and why are you giving them to "Kelly"(my BF) when you know she's on meds for depression?"
"Heeeeell, she asked fo' um'."

This girl is a plague. "Kelly" took a shower last night, then po-dunk, then myself. As I pulled the shower curtain back, I saw someting shiney and metal on the tub floor. A kitchen knife. I put it on the counter and took my shower....shaking with anger and frustration.
I knew "Kelly" had cut herself...then po-dunk took a shower afterwards, saw the knife, and left it there! Did nothing!

"Kelly" can I talk to you in my room?" I said while drying my hair.
She walked in my room wearing an ER gown which we stole together from the hospital when she got a concussion last winter from skiing.
"What the fuck is that?" I said, looking down to the knife sitting on my bed.
She leaned over, exposing cuts along the outside of her upper thigh.
"What the fuck are you doing???!!" I bursted.
"I didn't like have a freak out like that time with my arm...I just...I don't know. It makes me feel better. I have issues."
"No you don't! You have it great here! Why are you so upset?"
"No one loves me...I'm alone."
"I'm here! No one loves you????!!! Well HERE IT IS!! RIGHT FUCKING HERE! LOOK AT ME! I FUCKING LOVE YOU!!"
Tears were running down her face. "I know".

After a long talk, we agreed to hang out next time we can. I never get to talk to her much since that bitch is always by her side. I hate her. She's the worst thing that Kelly needs right now. An ex-girlfriend who's living, eating, everything for free....using Kelly to be closer to some imaginary 'girlfriend' in Canada. And Kelly's paying a higher rent for the both of them to live at our house! Paying for her! It's fucking ridiculous!

I want her gone.

 

Wow, Im sorry to hear about your situation.. But since you both are paying rent I think you have a say with what goes on and who lives there and such..
Obviously this person isnt doing anyone any good so the best thing to do would probably to kick her out..Since she is the one causing most of the chaos and so forth...
I know thats really not great advice or anything, but it seems like the best way to solve some of the problems..

She's supposed to move out in a month. But still, my BF is paying for her to stay there. The guy who owns the house, also our friend and roomate, wants her gone as well. She's nothing but trouble.

Why is your bf paying for her to stay there...is it cause she is hooking him up with pills?
Well I would get all the people who want her out and tell her now to leave, not in a month but now...because having her there a month is just more time that she can be like she is and do what she is doing, ya know...
She pays nothing, and not on the lease or anything.. I would throw her shit in bags and toss it outside...

You have to let your friend know that just cause she is a lesbian doens't mean she is good for her... There must be quite a lot of gay people in that area that you can introduce her too.. but.. that does not seem like the problem.. the problem is this girls attitued toward things... she is going to drag your friend down with her... I think you know what the best solution would be.. the hard part will be convising your friend...

The way I see it, it won't be easy, but, being a good friend isn't only something you do in the best of times... this is going to be tough, hand in there, and we are all here for ya... even if she gets mad at you, its better than you watching her go down the drain due to this new friend of hers...

Well, she left today anways! She found out that her internet girlfriend slept with someone else...who just found out she's HIV+. So po-dunk is gone on a bus back to louisiana. stupid ass...
BBBBBuuuuuuuuutttt, my best friend is moving home as well! To alabama, i think, with her stepdad. She said it's because she's not happy here...I think she just can't hack it. She wants to college, which is cool.....I'm happy for her. She's leaving in about a week and half.
