OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last night i went to see Incubus with my sisters and brother-in-law!!!!!!!!!!! Best fucking show i have ever seen! They played there new album and then some old songs. They played wish you were here and i my eyes started welling up, the gal next to gave me a weird look but i didn't care, i held my glow stick high and sang . But while i was leaving, there was some assholes behind me and asked me if i was holding up my papa smerf because my glow stick was blue, then he asked if i was a unicorn. I was seriously about to turn around and pound his face in. I mumbled to myself "fucking assholes" and they were like "did you hear that fucking bitch? The twat called me a fucking asshole. That pussy don't even know what an asshole is." I was about to turn around and clock him in the fucking face but my older sister lindsay yelled at me about singing so I left the assholes be. Then there was this guy on the highway. I had had my glow stick out the window and was waving it and he drove by and yelled "Yeah, Glow stick!" so i yelled "Yeah ,WOO!!" back to him. It was the most amazing concert ever. But brandon Boyd never took his shirt off. At every concert he like ever does,he takes his shirt off, but he didn't. All the girl in the place were like "why didn't he take his shirt off?" (i was one asking also) Omg It was amazing. But now my legs hurt cus Chris (my brother-in-law)and I were jumping around and bouncing around alot. Alaina (my other sister) joined us a few times but yeah. Best Concert I ever went to. Ever! what's the best concert you've ever been to?
Best concert I have ever attended was definitley when I saw Steve Howe (the guitar player for the band YES) play a solo show @ the TLA on South Street in Philadelphia, PA 2 Aprils ago. Actually, it was April 8th (I believe?) which was Steve's birthday so it was a blast. Also, the day I became a vegetarian The next best was when I saw Brazilian Girls play in Manhattan, NY last Oct. or Nov. cant remember which date exactly. Sabina is an amazing performer, very funny girl and her voice just soars, amazing live.
the Ramones (1995) and tom petty last year. The Pixies (2005) and so many more. I have been to so many shows it is hard to pick but those 3 are at the top.
Neil Young about ten years ago...mostly because of the dude in front of us that danced for like fifteen minutes with a plastic cup of beer on his head. He didn't lose a drop. Porno for Pyros at Bogart's was as close to a religious experience as I've ever had. I never even liked those fuckers that much but, they were the best band in the world that night.
Have any of you seen El Monstero In St. Louis? Its like a tribute to Pink Floyd. that is my second favorite concert ever
hmmm Pink Floyd, at the Rose Bowl During the Division Bell tour SkinnyPuppy at the Hollywood Paladium, Last Rights tour Nine Inch Nails w/ Bauhaus at the Virginia Beach Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, With Teeth tour
Lifehouse... i used to be INLOVE with them to the point when i was 15... no permit or anything... took my mom's keys to her minivan (parents were on vacation) and drove 4 hours to Pittsburge with best friend at the time, Chris Wehba, and at the show if you got their new CD (stanley climbfall) you could meet them... so i payed the $12 for the CD that i already had and when i got to talk to them i had Jason Wade (frontman) sign this one necklace... THAT I STILL WEAR EVERYDAY... even though his initials are rubbed off by now... and i got a kiss on the cheek from him
Of course the best show I've ever seen was an Xavier Rudd show Last year at the Cabooze in Minneapolis, to be exact. Amazing time. After the show, I was so pumped and high on good vibes. Good times good times.
OK I've been to sooooo many concerts dating back to the 70s. I've seen Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin on their 1977 US tour supporting "In Through The Out Door" Four Superbowls of Rock and Roll in Florida, seen three of the four Beatles solo and I roadied for America during a USO tour in the 90s. But the best single night was REO Speedwagon, Styx and Journey at the MCI Center in Washington DC about 4 years ago. I got floor seats for me and a friend, both of us major Journey fans. That night rocked. I saw Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger and Fleetwood Mac in one day and this was much better.
Well most amazing Wu Tang Clan!!!!!!!!!!! They put on an insane show, I got to see them before ODB died. Also The Black Crowes WOW WOW WOW I saw Incubus 3 or 4 times, the last time I saw em me and my friend met Brandon and Jose, it was kool, I got to hug Brandon and Jose told me I was cute, I have a Shirt signed by them in my closet...................................
Ohh, Incubus, I'm so jealous. My best concert would DEFINITELY be the FabFour (a Beatles coverband from L.A.). They were fantastic! Sounded just like the Beatles and gave a dead-on performance. I almost cried, just because it was just like watching the Beatles. Absolutely wonderful, if you like the Beatles and get the chance, definitely check them out. Plus all the other people there were the 50 and older crowd, so I didn't have any punkass twats trying to ruin my good time.
I would love to see them! I saw two Beatles cover bands and they were fun but I am so picky about Beatles covers LOL
hands down. tom petty last year. i'm going to see the doobie brothers, allman brothers, and genesis coming up this year. i know they're gonna be awesome concerts.. but i know tom petty is always gonna be the best.
Tool, last September. Going to an Aerosmith concert at the local fair on Wednesday. That should be fun.
