Take the place you live, rate how good it is, why it is good and how it is better than other Towns or Cities you have been to.

I heard of a place in scotland called Newbie.

But anyway, I will go foist to show anyone what I mean.....

Lewisham is a brilliant town due to its vantage point to the rest of London and the Kent counties of southeastern England. The main hotspots are Yatess nightclub. Just up the road is a Motown Bar which for Motown fans, will play Motown music from the commodores to Road runner! Theme nights are catered for the 60s and 70s although they do play modern stuff but whatever, it is a nice atmosphere. Unlike a lot of nightclubs, this one is a lot smaller and there are friendly people. Only five pounds on the fucking door and that includes cloakroom service:)

For those who need space from the bottom of the valley, there is Blackheath. Good for those who like kite boarding and flying kites in general or cycling or going to the village of Blackheath for the best of antiques. Plus Blackheath has wonderful street names like.....Tranquil Vale. I mean that is so sweet.

Come November, there is a huge firework display inline with the fifth of November. Been five times so far.
Lewisham shopping centre offers many highstreet familiar shops like Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury, T Mobile, Woolworths and Argos! all on one floor. You also have the model market which is for those who like some of the rastafarien stuff although there is a mix of different ethnicities there so be prepared to find some good value.

Shooters Hill is like a fucking mountain to climb. surrounded by vast woodland, you can spend allday getting lost.
There are fine restaurants and a Gaybar in Stonewalls for the gays.

The docklands light railway is the quickest way to neighbouring greenwich. Infact you can even get to the isle of Dogs and into Docklands for Canary Wharf and then up to Stratford. Prices are about the same but if you pay by Ken's Devil card, the oyster, you get a few pennies off. wooooooow.
The scenery on the train is stunning. From Deptford Creek to the laban art centre to Canary wharf itself, it is very nice journey. Of course from Greenwich station Cutty Sark, you can take a boat to London or Gravesend.

So Lewisham is a bit like Reading really. It is set in a valley and is a very multicultural meeting place. A few people like to go to Hillyfields. The highest point in Lewisham. You can see Lewisham and the way the valley is formed. kind of impressive and sometimes you can see as far away as the Addington Hills near Croydon!

So Lewisham is getting better. In the past it was as crap as Catford but now it is changing for the better.
