A nice string bikini. Wife had 2 one was just for sunning. Once it was wet you could see all. That was 70's have no idea what the style is today.

My wife has a couple of Wicked Weasel strings that are transparent when wet. A woman needs to be very brave or an exhibitionist to wear them. She recommends either the white or the yellow as they are more revealing.
A big question for the OP is : How daring has she been in the past? Since she already has string bikinis, she’s not asking you to pick a color for a new one. She’s basically asking permission for something more daring/erotic. 1) if she has an exhibitionist streak…go with the wicked weasel as suggested above. Or better still, take your gal where she can go nude. My wife is very prudish but her first nude experience really aroused her. You’ll be rewarded 2) if you’ve never seen an exhibitionist steak , buy both a micro and a thong and let her chose. regardless of 1 or 2, I’m betting she might offer pseudo objections to going more daring. She wants your encouragement. She needs to hear how much you would love seeing her in it (or going nude). She needs to hear how proud you would be for her to be wearing the daring suit (or going nude).
Definitely get her a thong or a g-string. Thongs are back in style and it seems as though a significant amount of women of all sizes are wearing them. While you’re at it, you should definitely get a thong (or Speedo) for yourself too. The best beach day I ever had is when my wife and I both wore thongs to the beach, it was so great to be naughty and sexy for a day.
