Traditionally made on Beltane (or May Day) this is good throughout the summer as a sweet snack! (it's very yummy!)Preheat oven to 375° 2 cups sifted flour 1 cup ground almonds 2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon 5 eggs 1 tube almond paste Mix together all ingredients but almond paste. Shape into flattened balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 20min. Ice with almond paste.
