Bellbottoms rule the world!!! Does anyone actually wear bellbottoms??? I do! I wear bellbottoms and tye-dye shirts, both @ the same time. I look like a definate hippy.

i had a pair of bellbottoms about 8-10 years ago; i wore them ALL the time....it's now threadbare in most parts, but i just cannot get rid of them. As soon as i get a sewing machine, im making some more....

......i LOVE bellbottoms! but i didnt overdo the hippy look by topping it off with a tie-dye shirt....just a regular tee shirt or tank top.

I don't have any anymore. Can't find any, but I used to have quiet a few pairs. I may have to make some of my jeans into bells. Or make some from scratch.

I was practically born with a fascinating for bellbottoms.

I blame this old Russian cartoon I grew up watching... best cartoon ever made:

yep! I make my own (well, I hack up old Levi's and turn them into bell bottoms). I can't really get behind tie-dye though.

though right now I am totally loving the cut-offs.

I've been thinking about turning an old pair of jeans into bellbottoms. I used to own a pair like 12 years ago but they don't fit me anymore.

Use a seam ripper and rip the thread in your jeans up to the knee, then just sew in a big triangle of fabric along the edges of the jeans that you just un-seamed. I used to have 4 or 5 pairs--wore them all through high school. It's very easy to do and doesn't take much time. You can make them as big as you want. Also, you can add extra and make your jeans inches longer if you outgrow them. Mom did that all the time...now stores sell that look for up to $70 a pair!

I dig bell-bottoms, but I mostly wear flare legged jeans. They're basically the same, just not as wide.
I think they're more flattering to some people's legs as opposed to straight jeans, but at the same time, skinny jeans are really cute too!

Bell bottoms jeans are my favorites pant, I still use them when I feel like even if they are absolutely falling apart. I think they're just great frayed and worn out!! They must be back in fashion soon..man! sash
