I imagine the cityfolk will know more what I'm talking about. But what are some interesting encounters or sightings of crazy people you have had? One of my favorites to recount is when the guy two behind me in line at Crossroads was talking about "I don't want to kill them God, I don't want to." Also, I don't know if he was actually crazy, but I guess you'd have to be. But I always see this kid around that fakes disabilities. The first time, he had all these nervous twitches and was sitting in front of me on the bus, picking at his hair like he had fleas; and it was driving me nuts. Next time I see him he's fine. Next time, he's "blind". I catch him checking out my girlfriend as we pass +_+
I used to work at a psychiatric hospital and I estimate over two years I must have responded to at least 1000 code oranges which meant someone was going to be placed in restraints Looking back I actually rather enjoyed the experience with the exception of the strip searches and searching the cars of drug addicts :ack2: Hotwater
Oh god, where to begin... How about the beginning. In my neighborhood when I was a kid, there was crazy louie. Typical crazy guy. He would walk around shaking his head and talking to himself, I saw in his house once. There was broken glass everywhere, stove in the livingroom, cigarettes (unsmoked) scattered everywhere.

I keep getting these weird people handing be leaflets about some floating person in the clouds, those guys are fuckin' strange
I once had this guy following me around the village I lived in saying "I like your hair. Mmm shiny. I like your hair. Mmm shiny" :willy_nilly:
Some of the best life adivce iv ever gotten were from homeless people who i believed to be schizophrenic. When in the city sometimes the poorest most disgusting looking person that everyone is scared of has the kindest heart.
there's a guy around my neighborhood who i seen couple times he apparently talks to the wall its actually really sad and really should no be mentioned but i figured fuck it
^ that reminds me a little of the one homeless guy with a ridiculously long beard that goes barefoot no matter the conditions outside and stands in the corner of the street facing the corner of the sidewalk, just staring forward blankly for up to hours.
We have some crazy girls on campus. One walks down the hall talking to herself, arguing with herself over which meat to have in her sub at lunch, and acts like she knows you and talks to you like you're best friends when you've never met her. The other one has had some brain surgeries due to epilepsy, so I guess she has an excuse, but one day, I walked out of my room to see her pressing her head against a pillar and running her hands up and down the sides... She also used to stalk my boyfriend until she found out we were together. At least she stopped, I guess...She wanted to go into neuroscience to better understand her condition and become a brain surgeon, but her condition made it near-impossible for her to concentrate on her studies, and the fact that she could have a seizure any minute pretty much ruined her chances of being a brain surgeon. They finally had to kick her out of the program. She went into law next. The saddest one yet, though, is in my town we have a bag lady that was somehow responsible for the death of her brother, I think. It was some accident, I guess, but she feels it's her fault and that she deserves to be punished, so she walks around in a giant winter coat, no matter the weather (don't know how she's done it in this 90-100 degree weather), smoking discarded cigarette butts and collecting bottles and cans for food from Aldi's and McDonald's. The police department pooled their money and bought her a little house in town that she could walk to and from her favorite places, but she won't stay there. She doesn't feel she deserves a home.
