    (the season, not Adam and Eve)

    (ahem)

    Acorns, thorns, and prickly things
    fall from trees in bunches and rings.
    Stepping barefoot on them's ouchy;
    Rain makes 'em softer, so I'm less grouchy!

    I hear you but I do know my bare feet can handle that . I stepped on a hook fishing the other day but I didn’t feel it . They bottoms of my bare feet are super hard so I really don’t feel stuff like that on my bare feet.

    I used to have a large old oak tree in my front yard that used to cause me all sorts of trouble walking barefoot. The squirrels used to drop the broken shells and it was like walking on broken glass. It made for decent training, but I was very happy when we had it cut down.

    I understand that and I can’t wait to walk around barefoot in the fall leaves I love the feeling of the leaves crunching under my bare feet.

    Barefoot on fallen leaves, crackly crunchy and dirty as they are, indeed is one hell of a treat!

    I always did my fall leaf raking barefoot. It always felt so good with the cooler weather. Just had to be wary for the prizes the three dogs would leave under them.
