I don't know if this is an actual drink already, but I mixed my beer with some RC cola and it tasted really good. I was already slightly drunk and it was like 2 weeks ago, so I don't know if I was just too drunk to notice or what but I swear it was the best thing I've ever drank.

I got super fucked up off of BeeBop mixers, it was goooooooood.

I also named it BeeBop, for Beer and Pop (don't ask about the B instead of the P in pop, I was drunk when I made it up). I don't know if it's already an actual drink but I'd say that BeeBop probably kicks the ass of the name that someone else would come up with...

an old coworker who spent a little time in germany said that occasionally people there will mix cola beverages with various types of bocks.

he is a fan of mixing coke and amber bock, and americanized version of this.

i dont know how widespread it actually IS to do this in germany, but he claims thats where he learned it. personally i've only had doppelbocks and maibocks, and they're good and i can see why it might taste alright with the addition of cola, but i prefer to drink my beer as just plain old beer.

if it tastes good to you, though, then by all means do it.

i guess it really depends on what kind of beer you're using and what kind of sodapop you're using. for instance, grape faygo and pilsner urquell would be supremely terrible.

i'd say as a general rule dont put pop in any expensive beer, but make sure you're using two beverages with compatable flavors (perhaps an orange pop and a cheap north american wheat beer would be good?...or has been mentioned something like amber bock and coke would probably work ok)

I just used Lakeport Strong and RC.

    Lakeport strong is 5.9%.

I have no idea what most of the beers you're talking about are, but I think that either way it should still be good. I wouldn't mix it with other flavours of pop, just regular old cola.

Pepsi and Budweiser would be as expensive as I'd go haha. Lakeport is about 28 bucks for a 24 and budweiser is about 31 to 33 bucks for a 24.

yeah, you're getting majorly ripped off. and budweiser is among the worst beers out there, so there is NO reason to pay that much for it....

    its criminal, really.

here, they're less than a buck a bottle, even if you buy a sixpack instead of a bigger quantity.
