Not being able to protest because there is no cause. That's a new one.

You want to protest just to protest so you can impress your peers by standing up to the "man". Damn you pseudo-hippies...

That's right!!! You know if more and more joined together we could really make a difference! I am proud of you! You are bold to stand up for what's right, and to make it known to the public! Good luck and don't give up! Peace!!!

you should organize something like this in your Town.. then we could get some more people across Canada, Us.. or even the world to organize something like this... and All have it during the same days!.. it would be an impact to the world.. kinda how john and Yoko wanted it to be like in 1969.

also.. i happend to watch the news this morning.. i usualy NEVER do.. but there is a Vietnam remeberance thing on sunday i belive? i dono i'l probly do somethign then.

...right...you should wait to protest until you come up with something yourself to protest about, there's my suggestion :)

I agree and disagree with a lot of what is going on in here. I am just hoping that the term hippie didnt get deluted somewhere along the way and become someone that just smokes pot and protests about everything and anything. I am in no way saying that is the case I just know that I used to think that until one day I truely understood. And I'm not too fond of the word protest. Doesnt that sound so negative? And for a good "protest" to work, it has to be about a good cause that a lot of people believe in. You need to think of something that a lot of people are aware of (and if they arent, make them aware) something that really steams you up, that you are so passionate about and know you can back it up with your feelings. You never know how many people agree with you until you speak up. Make your protest a movement. Lemme know what you are up to, and btw, I thought that Canadians were very aware of the truth. It's Americans that were ignorant enough to vote for bush again.
    Keep it real.
