I was a vegetarian for 5 1/2 years, than one day a friend convinced me to try her mothers chicken. So I did, thinking ... just this time. Well that was almost a year ago. [I honestly didn't realize until now how long it's actually been] Two days ago I went through the day without eating any meat, which was a big feat for me, haha. So I decided to stick with it and head back down that path. I felt much healthier, and knew what I was eating was actually good for my body. I can't wait to feel free from all the toxins meat puts in your body. Anyway, Hello my names Josh.
isn't it great to live up to your name? (even when it starts a joke?) beware of all the other crap eating processed food puts in your body, too.
^ Dude, seriously, it's not a contest. You seem to enjoy feeling better than everyone else by the simple fact that you've been veg longer. But at this point, can't you at least rest satisfied that we all know it? Seriously... I don't think you've piped up in a SINGLE thread on the veg boards without mentioning it.
"Catch me if you can" doesn't sound like leadership to me. In fact, it sounds more like in another 25 years if Josh is still at it you'd find some subtle way to intimate you're better than him because you'd gone 50 years! ... Sorry, didn't mean to get OT there... but it's been driving me a little crazy for days. Josh, welcome back! You won't be sorry, I bet you'll feel loads better in every way for it!
I never really intended to stop being a vegetarian the first time ... It's just that once that juicey piece of chicken touched my lips, It had to do it again and again. haha. I went to the store yesterday and 'upgraded' my cupbords with veg friendly things, and quick meals. I'm about to make myself some hummus with red peppers and onions. Mmm
Congrats! Recently going back myself after 5 (!!!) years of relapse. Here's to a healthier, happier you.. and me!
