I was being facetious. And its always implied by athiests. Their argument that God can't exist because Science can't observe her.
One does not have to appeal to God to set the initial conditions for the creation of the universe, but if one does He would have to act through the laws of physics. [Stephen Hawking, Black Holes & Baby Universes].. .. why are the fuzzy dice in the quarter crane machine so hard to get.. curse you gravity, you move to quick!!!
As long as god is defined as a supernatural being science has nothing to say about the matter. Science uses natural explanations for natural phenomena. However the absence of evidence for the existence of something, while never conclusive, can be counted against the proposition that the alleged thing exists if it is reasonable to expect to find evidence of that alleged thing's existence if it did indeed exist.
there's no way to EVER know. why trick yourself into believing you do? one thing for certain is a religious god could never exist... i'd bet my life on it.
exactly... its the one thing IMO that can be assumed (or almost completely) if you look at it, well uh - logically. its impossible to know such things like that, not including religion because it is the exact opposite.
why convince yourself that human ideals 2000 years ago are what god wanted for you (assuming that's what you believe)? if the creator of the universe wanted to tell us what was really what, and how we should live - you honestly think they would have done it that way? if you want to believe that well then go right ahead, but it just suprises me how even the most intellegent people can believe this.
Why would billions of people have an intense desire to know God if s/he doesn't exist? There just has to be something BIG out there.
