And thats a problem?? The library is a Socialist institution.
I'd bet you also know very little about socialism, I could be wrong. However most people who are scared of Socialism don't know shit about it.

EDIT: Also, I find it funny that most socialists don't like Obama as much as most of the country does. They are very critical of them. The only people who think he is a Socialist are people who aren't Socialist. Socialists know better.

    Because of Obama
I never stray too far from the sidewalk.
    Because of Obama
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt.
    Because of Obama
I find it hard to trust not only me but everyone around me
    Because of Obama
    I am afraid.

To be honest I kinda like G W Bush...I was just being the typical Bush hater.
I don't actually see much of a difference apart from perception.

I think he meant to imply that GW Bush was a drug addict.

Who me? No. G W Bush is clean.
Infact I cut my drinking down because of him.
He once said that all his energy was going to the booze and not life.
I thought: You are right. I feel the same way.

I meant, the general opinion of Bush isn't a good one, to put it mildly.

Anyone who wins a Presidential election is the by product of a popularity contest.

    What does that prove?

why should they have say in the government for that?

The peoples vote should go to what laws and policy's are to be enforced, not to who's OPINION should be enforced, the system is flawed I think all presidents are shit.

I think this country needs real democracy and not just a shuffling of the deck every four years.

The United States as it is today is NOT a democracy it is more similar to a polyarchy, did you get to vote on whether using narcotics was illegal or not?

Did you get to vote as to whether or not we should ever go to any war?

We have rulers, and for all purposes they own you if you live in the United States.

I came to the realization that we live in a flawed system by the time I was ten.

    Yeah, I'll second this.

We need direct democracies in the states, and the federal government should be almost nonexistent.

never going to happen. not in our lifetime.
the model they have been striving for and that is now being implemented in high gear is a fascist model and fascism and democracy dont go together.

I hope these kids fulfill the ambitions that Obama inspired for them, cause I want them to have good jobs and be happy. And it's good that they are inspired. But they are little tools

yea, man, I live in the capitol of Canada and EVERY single day I see black kids, and kids of other ethnicities that aren't white walking around in Obama t-shirts. I don't care if they wear them, but wear them for the right reasons. Don't wear them just because he's black. They think it's a sign of power or something because he's seen as part of a 'minority'

P.S - Guaranteed if Mccain won, NO ONE would walk around with his face on their chest

Personally, I would welcome a clamp-down. The way out of Huxley's nightmare is through Orwell's. We're being dumbed and pleasured to death right now.
