She rises... From the sea of unborn beauty For none have seen her kind before None shall see it after her… Rising from an ocean of realities dreams... Like a flower Plucked and drifting toward the sun… Her hair deep earth-tone Yet flowing, shining Chestnut gold spun like silken threads Each hair flowing free and living Her eyes are midnight hidden in moon-glow Her smile outshines the sun Her body can not hide The perfection of curve That Mother Nature herself created And Mother Earth envies No unearthly satin Nor any fruit, bread, or animal down matches Her ultimate softness Soft as a candle flame And from its glow Beauty rises.
I like it.. reminds me of Byron She walks in beauty, like the night Of cloudless climes and starry skies; And all that's best of dark and bright Meet in her aspect and her eyes: Thus mellow'd to that tender light Which heaven to gaudy day denies. One shade more, one ray less, Had half impair'd the nameless grace Which waves in every raven tress, Or softly lightens o'er her face; Where thoughts serenely sweet express How pure, how dear their dwelling place. And on that cheek, and o'er that brow So soft, so calm, yet eloquent, The smiles that win, the tints that glow, But tell of days in goodness spent, A mind at peace with all below, A heart whose love is innocent!
wow how beautiful nature is.. i love the line, her smile out shines the sun., how radiant she seems.. love n peace from saff
I love that poem from Byron... I definately associate the beauty of a woman with the beauty of nature, especially this woman... Thanks for your comments... I will post more...
