not sure if theres already a thread on this topic but i cant find one :/ lets talk about beards, personal experiences, tips everything about them ive just started growing my second beard only a couple weeks in and its itching like hell haha xx
All I can grow is a teen beard. I would like to have a ZZ Top beard like my uncle but thats not possible for years and years. my "teeny beard" never really itches unless I just shaved a couple days ago. What I can grow is wicked sideburns, but not much else.
Mutton chops would be a little much. I'll keep my burns 'till I'm far enough through with puberty to grow a full thick beard lol.
If I was capable of it, I would certainly grow a wild lumberjack-type beard. Alas, at the moment I just have some fuzz and sideburns that create a vague hair-frame around my face.
When I was 16 till about 17 I had a "chin strap", which is like a beard only on the edges of you're face. I couldn't grow a full beard and i'm still to patchy to grow a full beard. I usually have a goatee and side burns. Now i just have side burns.
I'm 17 and i've just started growing my first real beard. Its been about four weeks and its gotten pretty full. Itched like hell for the first two weeks though.
I can't stand beards. I think they look nice, but my skin has a real issue with prickly shit and on top of it most men wear aftershaves that get into the tiny cuts from the hair. Ugh, makes me break out and get all red. But, I love a nice little beard aesthetically.
I love my beard and hate when circumstances force me to trim it nice and neat and "short" (probably quite long to most people) I know its a bit of a social pariah, and probably puts of a fair fraction of the lasses but fuck anyone who thinks they have a stake in my face.
pypes, don't forget the women that find facial and body hair extremely sexy on men! I still don't understand how my old manager had the right to tell guys to shave their faces, when the women there are allowed to wear so much black makeup around their eyes that they look like strung out whores. I'm glad he's gone, but that pisses me off still. How common is that in workplaces? Have any men here ever been told to shave by their higher ups? And if so, what was your reaction?
The itchiness is the hair poking through the skin. It will pass but also using a nice beard oil will soften the skin and make it stop sooner
When I grew my beard, both Jane and our daughter said it made my look like a vagrant, so I shaved it off. LOL
I let my facial hair grow mostly out of laziness lol, turns out my wife loved it but never really said much about it. I shaved one day and she freaked haha, said it felt like she was kissing a woman (not in to that). I worked in oil refineries, pulp mills, etc, often required to be clean shaven, but that has to do with the possibility of having to wear a respirator and the requirement of it being tight fitting. Safety advisors could tell you to go shave or go home for the day...
