Beaches in Thailand

Man i was looking at pictures on the net, of thailand, man ever see there lagoons, beachs, Its soo crazy , Looks like something out of a book Man.

 

out of a book like The Beach, by alex garland, i think. Leo's in the movie, but more importantly, the beach is... and that French girl who takes pictures of the stars.

 

Never saw that movie, that filmed in thailand ??

 

Aye, the Phi Phi islands I think... check out the book, it's pretty good.

Crazy Beautiful Isnt It

crazy. only expense with thailand is getting there. you can get a small bungalo on the beach for about five dollars US per night. food, the greatest food in the world, is pocket change. lotsa drugs too.

Aah, yes, i've read the beach myself, and I was about to list it on here too. I love that book. Probably one of the best i've ever read. I've read a few Alex Garland books but I think this is probably his best.

My brother was a master dive instructor on Phi Phi from 2000-2002... Beautiful place, he says... yet, the beautiful "lagoon", in reallity, is full of boats al lof the time..... not as 'Abandoned" as it appears on the pictures.

hmm. i heard the movie "the beach" sucked.

 

It looks cool, but a bit too exotic for me.
Reminds me of that movie called 'Blue Lagoon'.

Actually, the movie did suck in my opinion, the book was much better. (I now have a cable modem )
