be gentle everybody... For someone special

  1. This is my first real attempt at writing poetry since the one i wrote after my first son died(1996)...be gentle folks...

so far away and yet so near
your voice is gone yet still i hear
the beating of your heart inside
across the oceans dark and wide

alone i sit and wander freely
inside a mind you have completely
my waters cold, your deserts hot
i have you, yet i have you not

a secret love i dare not hold
a lady lovely and so bold
rides waves of spirits through my soul
and passion brings i cant control

    absolutely lovely...

    *sighs*

'alone i sit and wander freely
inside a mind you have completely
my waters cold, your deserts hot
i have you, yet i have you not'

it's *all* good, but that was the best part...

  7. Thank you...it isnt nearly as lovely as who is was written for but i do my best.

It is just wonderful... More people should be as sentimental about their "special someone"
