Batik

    Hey, I just wondering what the name of the wax is. is it just 'batik wax'

    batik wax is a blend of two waxes: sticky and regular old parafin.
    good ol' Dharma trading carries the two as separate (so you can control crackle by mixing your own) or as a pre blend.

    batiks are so wonderful!! they have to be my favorite textile!
     
  4. beeswax and parafin have worked well for me

    I've almost always used craft store beeswax... comes out the easiest....
