Bath Folk Festival New Shoots Competition Gigs!!!

The Bath Folk Festival New Shoots Competition seeks great new folk talent in the South West.

This is a brand new folk competition in association with Real World Studios, conceived by former Genesis frontman and WOMAD founder Peter Gabriel, to help encourage new music.

Heats are being played by bands, duos and solo artists now to determine who will play in the New Shoots Competition Final on Sunday 19th August.

Come along and see who makes it through as well as find some new music for yourself!

HEAT 3: Tuesday 24th July 7.30pm / Green Park Tavern, Bath / Entry £4
HEAT 4: Thursday 26th July 7.30pm / Royal Oak, Bath / Entry by donation
HEAT 5: Wednesday 1st August 7.30pm / The Crown, Bathwick St, Bath / Entry £4
HEAT 6: Friday 3rd August 7.30pm / Ye Olde Farmhouse, Bath / Entry by donation

All profits made go to raising funds for the Bath Folk Festival 13th-19th August 2012. ​
