I do like that song quite a bit. Do you have the album? It is really well put together. If you like that, I would suggest listening to more "deep" cuts from Big Brother and the Holding Company. I always thought that the guitar playing was similar. All those guys made a supergroup in the 80's called "the dinosaurs". I don't know whether they are any good or not because I haven't been able to find it.
Yes, Iv'e got the album "Electric Music For The Mind And Body". It seems that after that they got into anti-Vietnam protest music and didn't come back to that beautiful dreamy stuff. Another Vietnam casuality! Outasight.
Yeah, they seem to have made a few versions of it; most of them are a bit too country/bluesy for me. I like that really spacey stuff. Outasight.
