So I am not entirely new to barefooting, but I have recently been expanding my range. Just yesterday the band had to play for a basketball game, and my socks were wet, so when I got there, I took off my shoes and socks and did the whole event barefoot, and after, they were still wet, so I walked out to my car in the snow barefoot. The day before, I wore the wrong shoes to school, I wore the ones with the abrasive insoles. So I took off my shoes and went the whole day in my socks.

My next opportunity for bare feet in school is in May during an activity day. I'm thinking that I will go outside and bare my feet, walk on all types of surfaces including pavement and grass. Hoping that will toughen up my feet and also help with correcting my arches.

Next year I am going to college, and I'm thinking of going barefoot to classes most days. Also doing errands barefoot, and a daily barefoot walk.

Before any of that, I must correct my arches more and toughen up my feet. Any thoughts on all this?

Do you get aroused by being barefoot? Or is it just me?

Well, yes I get aroused, but not in any sexual way, just to clear that up. But it's especially thrilling to me when people get the chance to admire them. Especially the soles, which I keep pretty well maintained, along with the rest of the foot.

I live in a conservative place, so I need to wait for the right time. Plus, bare feet don't go well with what I wear in winter. Plus the dress shoes I wear force me to keep my arches from flattening. As I say it, dress shoes or no shoes.

That sucks but I know how you feel. Kind of the same where I live although i do go barefoot as often as I can. Looking forward to some warmer weather so I can go barefoot more

Yeah, outside of school I only wear shoes when going into public. Because my mom won't let me go barefoot.

In a heartbeat. I'd keep some for more formal settings like concerts, as I am a violinist, or for work or weddings, any formal settings.

I go to school barefoot. My mother was allowed to go barefoot because that was my choice. It was hard at first when we walk in dog faeces or anything else, but during my bearings. I go barefoot every day. Maximum pleasure when I go. Now that it is winter, so snow still go barefoot. worth trying. save money because they do not use shoes.

I agree. It saves me $45 on a sole replacement. My foot soles will heal, the shoes need sole replacement. I actually find that the cold doesn't bother my feet much.

Aren't you lucky, I had to wear incorrect shoes to school and be forced to go barefoot as punishment (or not)

that's nice that there was a rule as to they kind of shoes required, and bare feet if you broke the rule.
