First off im new to this part of town, but must say that xanax is by far my favorite drug of choice aside from bud though haha. Anyways i wanted to get your guys take on something.... I was first introduced to the drug a little over 2 years ago now, ever since then i have taken xanax. So much to where i mean i cant even remember my first 18 weeks of school last year anyways i dont really now how to emphasize how much i was doing it this past 18 weeks this year. But during my most excessive time using, i basically stopped cold turkey. I didnt really think to much of it though but anyhow i ended up having a seizure during class. Now i would say that i have a anxiety problem for real, if a doctor knew i abused using the drug, would he be more likely to prescribe me different if i did need some medication such as xanax to treat the anxiety? I would have substantial anxiety, to where i am even constantly flexing my muscles around the shoulders, not literally but just to explain how it feels. Stress
Oh yeah they definitely would not give you xanax if you let them knew. It sounds like your just taking xanax to self medicate whatever anxiety/ stress your having constantly, which is a horrible idea for reasons which are evident in the post. I prefer xanax to any opiate or stimulant ANY day, but it shouldn't be used as a permanent way to escape reality as you can never do xanax forever. You should give SSRI's a shot, see how they work and see a psychologist. What kind of anxiety are you experiencing exactly, social anxiety, OCD?
My doctor knew that I had a history of extreme xanax abuse, but he still gave me a script for 120mg of xanax every month. Of course, I ended up taking all 120mg in a day or two, so I had to stop that shit before more bad shit started happening. lol I ended up taking my last script of 120mg in only a few hours and woke up the next day in a homeless shelter with torn ligaments in my ankle. haha
It's horrible to wake up and find out you ate all your xanax. That's why people who abuse xanax shouldn't have prescriptions. lol
i'll aways end up taking retardedly high doses of psychedelics whenever i'm benzoed out and not remember it. i'll always feel like im indestructible and that i could tolerate anything... stupid stupid stupid
Well i wouldnt say that i am using to self medicate, just simply recreational use. I actually havent taken any in almost 2 weeks. I am actually seeing a counselor, but that is only temporary as it was recommended that i see one after i had the seizure, but obviously a conselor and psychologist arent exactly the same. As for my anxiety, im just generally stressed out a lot with a decent amount of anxiety. My mood is always random, basically i have swings where i could be fine then something could easily piss me off. And what are SSRI's exactly?
