Banning a candidate because you HATE them is a HATE CRIME

There is not, and has not been, any conviction of insurrection during the lifetimes of anyone who is a currently living American. To ban a candidate on the basis of your hatred for them is simply a HATE CRIME, with zero legal justification.

 

I know what you mean. Just because an ex president tries to overthrow the constitutional government to stay in office couldn't be a reason to keep him from running again. All the ex presidents have tried it.

 

The article of the Constitution being cited doesn't require a conviction. The person who has been banned so far in two states isn't disputing his actions, only that he is immune from prosecution.

 

As much as Democrats have attempted to install a draconian dictatorial politburo (ie the gulag panel calling itself the January 6th committee), we still live in a Republic guided by Constitutional law. Biden and his son constitute a very real threat, but he is rapidly falling into the dustbin of history. His impeachment for numerous crimes, but among his top offenses, has been treasonous election interference, the interference in Hunter's subpoenaed testimony, and his use of office for private familial personal financial gain in conjunction and in collusion with enemies of the United States and various terrorist organizations. The US Supreme Court will be coming online shortly to add voice to these conclusions

I find it amazing (and sad) that right wingers in different countries have a wish list such that if they achieved everything they want, they would require the destruction of that which they cherish most.

There have been some amazing stories lately concerning the use of MDMA in helping people to psychologically cope with differing mental problems. I mean this sincerely----I have certainly made fun of and called people stupid and various other epithets over their radical beliefs. But after all----these folks are human--they are our fellow citizens, as misguided as I believe they happen to be. It REALLY is difficult for me to understand how people --such as the coach--can get so far down the rabbit hole of disinformation as he has. How many of these folks need and deserve help? How do they get it? Do they want it? Of course not. If the coach reads this--he will hate what I have written and probably think of me as a pretentious prick. I am concerned for these HARD--HARD right wingers.I wish coach well, actually. Not that my beliefs are the be all and end all.

 

There are times I wonder if these extremist right wingers have a tainted water supply.

 

I think maybe a root cause of all this unhappiness and unwillingness to search out real facts for so many , might stem from the monetary inequality in society where the super rich seem to own most everything , control most everything, anti unionism against working people, the capitalist system running out of control with the price of everything and education being out of the reach of too many.

Although it is amazing that one person--Donald J. Trump has been / is able to fuck up the whole country. I think many trump lovers are expressing their dislike of the existing conditions because of the aforementioned reasons---and others.
It will be the end of democracy if this continues--it's already begun to fracture.
