The only place I've ever seen these lollipops sold is Spencer's. Parents shouldn't be letter their kids go into that store anyway.. and if they do, they're going to be exposing them to MUCH worse things than weed-flavored candy (that doesn't taste even remotely like weed).
the only store i've ever seen and purchased them were at was Newbury Comics i think it's a bit silly that they would go this far.

What ban on marijuana-flavored lollipops? I attended the 2006 Ann Arbor Hash Bash (Ann Arbor, MI/U of M diag) yesterday (April 1st) and there was a vendor selling hemp-flavored lollipops shouting "Every lick is like taking a hit". A hit of what? Sugar? If they were made from hashish or hash oil, yes, it would be true, but that would make them very illegal! There is a hashish jam/candy consumed in North Africa and in the Middle East called MAJOON (or MAJOUN), which is an Arabic word for JAM. It is composed of: Powdered HASHISH or MARIJUANA, mixed with honey, fruit, nuts, spices and rancid butter. Sounds like a healthy mixture to me (as long as you're not allergic to any of its ingredients)! It probably tastes better than HEMP LOLLIPOPS and works a whole lot better, but they're currently illegal in the good ole USA. I never tried MAJOON. Has anybody else? Is it sold in Amsterdam? I usually refer to the psycho-active (high THC content) CANNIBIS plant as MARIJUANA and the non-psycho-active (extremly low THC content) CANNABIS plant as HEMP. Since these lollipops are made with HEMP OIL, they should properly be called HEMP-flavored lollipops. Hemp seeds are one of the most nutritious sources of nutrition found in nature! Birds love 'em! The HEMP OIL is probably the only nutritious thing in those lollipops! So, how is good nutrition bad? Anti-drug advocates are mostly concerned with its connection to the other CANNABIS plant - MARIJUANA, but what about that huge wall of booze and cigs behind the cash registers at convenience stores! SPENCER GIFTS does (or did) sell hemp-flavored lollipops, but SPENCER GIFTS is mostly a stoner's paradise store. I have purchased many items there. Let your yougin's enter at their own risk! It's not a kiddie store! Neither are "head shops". If you don't like those places, don't go to them, but respect our freedoms! Or at least our illusion of freedom! I don't think it's a good idea for elementary or Junior High students to use any drugs, as their bodies are in a rapid state of growth and it's good to have a clear head to get a proper education. Idiots don't get far in life! Adulthood is filled with excess worries, so a mild escape can sometimes be a good thing. Excess stress leads to heart attacks. What teen listen to their elders anyway? Nobody wants a nation of "wastoids", but intelligent use of psycho-active substances (i.e. SHAMINISM) can aid our mental and spiritual evolution. USE is always the KEY, like nuclear power. You might see the truth over there, and we can't let you being doing that. Mainstream Media concentrates on trivial matters and skirts REAL ISSUES. Education is a threat to the ruling elite. Slaves are kept stupid, so that they can't figure out how to overthrow the ruling elite. Hemp-pop controversy is such a trivial matter. Suck on a POT-POP for good nutrition (except for the sugar). well I've seen them in head shops for years(and no, they taste nothing like pot), but I have noticed their starting to pop up in other stores. But when 2 feet away theres a magzines called, heads, high times and cannabis culture it's hardly suprising.
yea, only seen em in spencers, next thing you'll know, anything with a picture of a pot leaf will be illegal, any speaking about marijuana(unless talking about how bad it is) will be reason enough to strip search you, and if you get caught with an ounce or more, you get the death sentance. god damn, we need some change.and did you know most americans even think it shouldnt be a crime to smoke it?they may not agree with it or think its bad for you, but still shouldnt be a crime
